Tension Release Exercises (TRE)

Stress is part of everyday life in the 21st century.  As human beings we are designed to be able to experience, survive and even grow from traumatic events and stress.  However, stress and tension can overwhelm our own sense of self.

 

TRE is a natural exercise routine that is safe and simple-to-learn.  It switches on our body’s de-stressing tremor mechanism.  When performed regularly, under the guidance of a certified practitioner, TRE assists the body to return to a state of calm and balance.

 

Wendy is one of the few South African TRE practitioners who have achieved Advanced Practitioner status.  Her vast experience of working with TRE allows her to tailor-make the process, taking into account each client’s individual needs.  Clients report feeling empowered and confident to practice the exercises at home.   Within a remarkably short time clients find that they start responding to stress and tension in a more positive way.
